this was the day before vene left

you are missed vene!

Have quit jc and am happy about it

like for the millionth time, i had to explain myself for quitting my a levels - this time to my aunt during the reunion dinner/gathering.

"why did you stop your a levels? you are already three quarter way through, might as well finish it. anyway you are doing well also, why stop? you will be wasting two years of your time in jc..."

Oh man. Honestly i am sick and tired of having to explain my choices to people again and again. Cant people just respect my decision and trust me for making my own choices? not as though i am some ditzy young teenager who doesnt know what he is doing - i mean after all i am 19 already and for one thing, i do know what i want and what i do not want. haiz.

just hope all goes well with my poly application, cant wait to start school!
especially when i will be finally studying something that i like.

One day i will make it to london college of fashion.

Relationships

-the value of friendship is seldom known till its lost-
i always remember this quote and prob will for the rest of my life.

this goes out to whoever who reads this post of mine - learn to treasure and not take forgranted of the people around you, learn to appreciate them for who they are and what they have done. honestly speaking, time is short, and not only that, it is irreversible. Don't wait till its too late to appreciate them, they may not always be around. whatever actions we take, they will have consequences.

i think maybe its good that sometimes we take a check of how much we value the people around us, and who really are the people that are important to us -

hmm... why is it that people only learn through mistakes?

With that, i would like to express my appreciation for these people who made my life -
(as corny as it sounds, i am still gonna do it)

1. my parents - 4 being ever so loving amd supportive
2. nigel - without you the family would be incomplete
3. pastor daphne - for leading and guiding me ever since i joined the xyq family
4. dwayne - my most faithful and loyal friend whom has always stood by me
5. caleb - the best kor anyone could have
6. nicky - for being such a dear as caleb would put it.

but of course Jesus, who has given me true life.

Techno-crazy

must haves for the year-

1. running at the top of the list would be the apple iphone!!!
Oh my, not only it is stylish, it has a touchscreen feature, a 480x320 pixel superbly clear screen, it runs on the mac os x, its abt a cm thick, with Wi-Fi, a 2 megapix camera, integrated ipod with 8gb memory, best of all, it has a sensor where the screen will filp into potrait or landscape mode just by rotating the phone. my nose is bleeding... haha. jokin. but it will only be available abt year end. Of course, its pretty pricey. but oh well, its a iphone!

2. a laptop. maybe a hp pavillion dv2000? havent done my research yet.

3. if i cant have the iphone or lost patience waiting for it to arrive, i definitely got to have my hands on the nokia n95! it boasts a 5 megapixel camera in a phone for crying out loud!!! ahh!!

4. a sony DSC-T30 camera

5. The Nintendo Wii. can imagine playing some sports game and waving the remote control/handheld thingy around the house man.

Hmm. I think i'm rather greedy... :)

i'm back.

so it is, at spencie's request, i'm back

and i am suffering from monday blues though its still sunday.
Have a important maths vector test tmr morn man... what a fantastic way to start a new week. urgh. One thing is for sure, i have to do extremely well in it - best if there are no mistakes, simply because i want to prove my dearest maths tutor wrong. It all started when i ponned the maths block test on the first week of school. And from then on, he had this impression of me as being one of those typical don't do homework-attitude problem-slacker kind of student who doesnt give too hoots abt my studies. It was kinda of a downhill thing la. He didnt like me, and neither did i. He is one of those kind of old sch teachers with their dogmatic nonsense - which really reminded me of my chinese form teacher in sec 1 with whom i argued almost everyday of my sec 1 life. and when i do get a A in maths in my a levels, i will be sure to thank him for it - for giving me the motivation to challenge his expectations of me. O mr leong poo pong.
